First Class Miners, Inc. A Non-Profit Educational Organization

The First Class Miners, Inc was formed in March of 1993 by the original students of the First Placer Mining Class held at Copper Mountain College. Since then it has grown into a family group of over 100 prospectors and recently obtained the status of a 501C(3) Non-Profit organization. The FCM holds three placer claims which total 360 acres of BLM property from elevations of 2000-5500 feet above sea level. The FCM is dedicated to the development of a knowledge base for safety and education for all who join in an effort to expand the development of placer mining. We welcome all who have a passion to learn or expand their base of knowledge to join us on our many treks into the wilderness.
